is an intimate hideaway set in glorious, tropical gardens at the edge of a turquoise sea. Where manicured lawns extend down to a magnificent mahogany tree onto a perfect white sand beach. Recently voted the 'Caribbean Hotel of the Year' by Caribbean World Magazine. This individual property is located on the picturesque west coast of Barbados.

Situated on a beautiful sandy beach in Paynes Bay, St.James, this privately owned boutique hotel offers superb accommodation, cuisine and friendly service.

The Treasure Beach is 5 miles (10 minutes) from the capital Bridgetown and the airport is 14 miles (30 minutes) away. The nearby shopping plaza of Holetown is only 1.5 miles away. Treasure Beach

The freshwater swimming pool is the focus of attention with many of the suites, dining area and bar forming a horseshoe cluster around it. The lush, colourful gardens add to a tranquil tropical setting. For those interested in shopping, the 'Holetown Shopping Plaza' is located within walking distance. Treasure Beach is in easy access to all attractions that the island of Barbados has to offer. All water sports are available from our own beach and golf can be arranged at either Royal Westmoreland or Sandy Lane, both less than 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel has a lounge with wide screen television, DVD, video and satellite - watch all the major sports events in the comfort of the air conditioned lounge with rum punches on request. The lounge also has a well stocked library, a selection of games and free Internet and e-mail facilities. If you feel energetic there is an air conditioned fitness suite that has the very latest hi-tech equipment including a heart monitor treadmill, bicycle and step machine, all supervised by our own fitness instructor Carl Baker.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS An attractive split-level dining area with tranquil views across the swimming pool to the Caribbean Sea. The 'Gold Award' winning dining room features international as well as local cuisine.

Treasure Beach chef
Chef de cuisine, Jeffrey Hyland, has consecutively been awarded 'Caribbean Chef of the year' by Caribbean World Magazine and just keeps getting better and better, producing excellent and consistent local and international cuisine ably assisted by the former Royal chef, Colin Wheeler-James.

Jeffrey presents his daily specials at dinner, often the favourite choice of regulars, to compliment the varied selection of dishes on the menu. There is a good stock of well-maintained fine wines to match the delicious cuisine.

After dinner why not be tempted to enjoy a Tropical Cocktail under the starlight sky!!
