Just Jazz was a well named event as the evening featured the mesmerizing sounds of Berklee College of Music professor, trombonist John Pierce, backed by an enthusiastic and experienced group of local musicians.

John Pierce thrilled the audience with his mastery of the trombone.

During the intermission patrons were treated to a display of Latin dance by the Salsavida Dancers.

After a lively display the dance group invited members of the audience onto the floor for a ‘Latin lesson’.

The second set of the evening brought a surprise addition to the programme in the form of popular local musician Andre Woodvine

The finale left everyone keen for more and ensured that jazz aficionados will be waiting eagerly for April’s Cool Jazz offering.

The Art of Sculpture.

The enchanting sculptures of Ras Ilon Skeete, Onkphra Wells and Che Edwards were on display and drew many appreciative glances.
